Mufti, Adnan
   A member of the politburo of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) until the parliamentary elections of 25 July 2009, Mufti was the speaker of the parliament of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), which is located in Irbil and has 111 members. He was succeeded as speaker by Kamal Kirkuki, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
